Firstly, I would like to share with you the largest bridge in India Dhubri Fhulbari Bridge. The said river bridge is going to be set up in the Dhubri District of Assam from Dhubri to Fhulbari in Meghalaya. The construction works begin from Dhubri (starting point) with a full speedy process with the latest technology. After all, This longest bridge will connect both the state of Assam and Meghalaya.

How impacts in communication this river Bridge ?
If we consider communication, then making this big project will solve the biggest problem of communication. A lot of change was made after completing this bridge, especially in the Dhubri district. Recently Government announced a new district South Salmara Mankachar by dividing Dhubri District.
This longest river bridge will be highly benefited both the district as well as connect to the nearby country Bangladesh. . An important thing is that Now If somebody is willing to go for some work from Dhubri to Mankachar or Hatsingimari or another place in the south bank of Brahmaputra then a lot of time required. Because the only traveling media is Bhutbhooti which is a lot of time required for travel.
what is the effect largest bridge on traveling distance?
Most importantly, completing this largest bridge in India from Dhubri (Adabari village) to Phulbari in Assam over the Brahmaputra river will short a lot of distance. Now, at present, traveling time the only medium of bhutbooti from Dhubri to Phulbari required about 3.30 hrs to 4.00 hrs but in flood season it will decrease to 2.5 hours to 3.00 hours.
During flood time there is big damage occurs due to the erosion of agricultural land and property. This caused due to the speedy flow of water along with the blow of high-speed air. In this situation, the journey becomes very risky for the bhutbooti passenger
Moreover, due to this risky journey, 5-6 years ago about 300 hundred passengers are missing at the place of Medertari in Dhubri District due to the cyclone effect.
However, it is quite easy for traveling during the non-flood season, but it will also risk for travelers, If you want to know how the impacts flood in Assam read the article flood the natural disaster of Assam. Must read this content about the flood in Assam floods and its impact on Kaziranga
Similarly, the state of Meghalaya has also benefited from this project, which will reduce long-distance by about 250 KM. A huge impact on trade and commercial purposes, both the state.

Know about the Project details of the longest Bridge.
The Dhubri-Phulbari Bridge length is more than 19 KM long. The biggest river and most dangerous river is the Brahmaputra which is a total length of 3848 KM and has a basin area of 6,51,334 Km2.
The contract to construct this bridge won by Larsen and Toubro (L&T) has been bagged and it would be executed by the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation(NHIDCL)
The JD Muntylaal Pvt.Ltd ,Client Larsen & Turbo(L&T) has won Rs. 3,166 crore Brahmaputra bridge project. The 4-lane under-construction bridge Dhubri-Phulbari over the Brahmaputra River was funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

They are constructing a sub-bridge for carrying out construction materials from one bank to another bank of the nearby small river.
How it will impact on local people of the district
India’s largest river bridge Dhubri-Phulbari which is under construction greatly impacts nearby people.
Firstly, it will hugely change business and commercial development and a lot of employment opportunities for the nearby people.
Secondly, after the construction of the bridge solve the communication problem and reduce the river path distance.
Finally, the proposed making, of one of the largest bridges in India is good news and an immense pleasure for us. The most important is that it will improve both the district Dhuburi and South Salmara Mankacher District including the state of Meghalaya.
